What is the Two-factor authentication ?
Strengthening Your Account Security
Two-factor authentication enhances the security of your account by preventing unauthorized access.
Even if a malicious individual manages to obtain your password, they will not be able to log in without the second verification factor.
This new feature has been implemented to strengthen the platform’s security and improve the protection of learner accounts.
How does it work?
When two-factor authentication is enabled, an additional step is required each time you log in:
- You enter your username and password
- A 6-digit verification code is sent to you by email
- You must enter this code to access your account
- Once the code has been successfully validated, access to the platform is granted.
The code is single-use
It is valid for 5 minutes
Each new code request invalidates the previous one (only the most recent code is valid)
You have up to 5 attempts to enter the correct code
After 5 failed attempts, your account is temporarily locked for 10 minutes
Can two-factor authentication be disabled?
How to disable it ?
Disabling two-factor authentication is possible, but only at the company level. It cannot be disabled individually by a learner.
A request must be submitted by the company to Lux-Airport and is subject to approval.
